Food Allergy
What is food allergy? Food allergy is a group of disorders characterized by immunologic responses to specific food proteins. Any food may cause a food reaction. Up to 2 million, or 8%, of children in the United States are estimated to be affected by food allergy, and up to 2% of adults have food allergies.
